Crabbie's Crabbie Whisky
The story of Crabbie’s began in Edinburgh, 1801 where Miller Crabbie’s grocery and spirit merchant business was thriving. The business was inherited by his son, John Crabbie, who went onto to produce everything from fruit based cordials to world renowned whiskies.

In the mid-19th century, John Crabbie acquired a former brewery located at a site called ‘Yardheads’ in Leith, Edinburgh. It was from here that he began producing his famous green ginger wine, rectifying gin, and maturing whiskies from across Scotland. He capitalised on the access to the nearby port of Leith, providing him with the finest ingredients from many different nations.

John Crabbie & Co has now extended its range to Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer and beyond.
